goo goo dolls concert

Outdoor summer concerts rock! Darcie and I went to go see one of our favourite bands from our childhood, The Goo Goo Dolls. They played all the hits which were incredible to hear live. At one point, the lead singer brought out some guy to the stage and gave him the mic. He started to talk about how much he loved his girlfriend who was standing right next to him. I  bet you can guess what happened next . . . he proposed to her! As cheesy as it was, it was still super cute.

If you're looking for an amazing spot to see live music in Toronto, check out the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. They have a massive lawn with flat rate tickets. The Goo Goo Dolls concert wasn't that busy so we were able to sit on our blanket the whole time. At more rowdy concerts, you usually stand.

delicious sushi + beautiful blooms

Nathan and I went to our favourite sushi place, Fukui Sushi on Bayview for lunch. There are a million sushi places in Toronto and surprisingly they aren't all amazing. When I find a new favourite sushi joint, I have to share it with everyone!

On our way home, we came across this luscious nursery. They had just about every type of herb and colourful flower you could imagine! I've done all my planting for the season but it was still really hard not to buy even one pretty flower.

whimsical engagement photos

There is something so magical about looking at engagement photos. In this set of photos below, Caileigh was really able to capture the true love between this couple. The bride-to-be resembles a beautiful fairy from the woods - totally in love with this look!
