Although my office is usually on a comfy chair or propped up in bed, I do love a good work space. An office is a place to think up wonderful things and be inspired in. Make sure your space is right for you, organized with lots of space to move around. Allow for good lighting and I always love a window for sunlight to be let in. Always have lots of magazines and books that let your imagination run wild!
Now that the summer weather is slowly approaching, this is a great time to organize your closet to be summer ready! I have been pulling my dresses from the back to the front of my closet and I sorted through my winter clothes. The items I never wore went straight in the give away bag to a second hand store. Why hang on to something that is taking up closet space?
I love having all my hangers coordinate for a clean and tidy look. For wardrobe organization essentials, visit Practical Princess for all the goodies you may need!

If you are having a summer wedding the time has come to send out your "save the dates"! Get creative with how you and your hubby tell your friends and family about your wedding. Scrabble letters have been a personal favourite of mine lately!
What can we do about that unwanted vent, how do we hide it? Build around it! Cover the vent with a screen for airflow and build shelving above to hold decorative items. Wallpaper the background or paint for a lovely touch!
A small space on a budget calls for a fun detail! Paint the wall with the sink in a powder room with chalkboard paint and draw your daily inspirations of polka-dots, hearts or doodles. This is also a great "memo board" for reminders!
Hello wallpaper! This accent wall has completely made this room to be a retro boudoir. The floating wood bed and furry pillows compliment the colours in the wallpaper. I love how vintage patterns pop back into style now and again!
Kitchen islands are an essential component to most kitchens. They provide great storage, an excellent and spacious food prepping area, a place to entertain, cook and clean. Since they can get quit large, why not make yours nearly invisible by mirroring it! This will reflect your gorgeous hardwood floor and make the area around it more spacious.
Scrabble coasters are a fun and simple DIY weekend project to get ready for the summer. Great for entertaining, these coasters will always have your guests talking. Get creative with the words as you only have four letters!
Measure the size of 4 letters by 4 letters and cut a piece of heavy card stock. Glue the scrabble letters down and wait an hour to dry. Then, cut a piece of felt to go on the bottom to protect any surface you wish to place the coasters on.
