mother's day brunch

What are you doing for your mom on Mother's Day?

Why don't you make her crepes using her favourite vintage china, champagne and orange juice in her finest crystal, and don't forget some fresh cut flowers.

When planning a Mother's Day brunch it is important to be fully prepared the day before. Set the table exactly how she likes it, make sure you have all the ingredients to cook and bake the morning of. I love the smell of fresh baked treats in the morning, and so will your mom!

Always plan for a last minute guest, this shows you are always welcoming and an excellent hostess! Plus, you never know if your guests love your food so much they'll be wanting more!

Since this is a special occasion decorate your pastries with fresh fruit and icing! Have fun with your baking and incorporate the colours of your china to compliment the food you are serving.

Vintage silverware is classic and looks great on any table. The secret to silverware is the more you use it, the better it looks!

Fresh fruit is a great addition to any brunch and it's also healthy!

Cupcake stands are a perfect way to add height to your table. Fill them with exquisite cupcakes then top it off with fresh flowers. Don't forget to keep it full!

Bring out your Nana's vintage teapot, teacups and saucers! Don't keep them in the closet, use them, enjoy them and share the beautiful memories they hold.

Have a Happy Mother's Day!
