biking in toronto

I am loving the warm weather lately and have been dying to get out on my bike and cycle around town! Toronto has opened up their roads to many bike lanes making cycling a more pleasurable experience. If you are nervous about the rules of the road with biking, here are some tips

Toronto is a great city to visit as it holds many attractions. We have fabulous shops, delicious restaurants and luscious gardens. I recommend renting a Bixi Bike allowing for you to go directly from each location quickly! It not only is a cheap ride but it is a wonderful way to view the beautiful city!

DIY chevron rug

I am seriously loving chevron these days but am finding it hard to get a great deal on a rug! I came across The Little Green Notebook blog and found a great DIY for a chevron rug. All she used was an inexpensive rug from IKEA, tape, latex paint and a brush.

The total cost of this project was $36 and 3 1/2 hours!

happy mother's day xo

This morning my family and I made brunch for Mother's Day. What a perfect day to eat outside on the patio! Crepes are an all time favourite of mine, berries are always a must and of course top off the brunch with fresh orange juice and champagne!
